Do you provide hair services?
Ready, Set, Glow exclusively provides makeup services however a list of suggested vendors will be available in the coming weeks.
What can I expect from a bridal trial run?
Trial runs are included as part of the Bridal Package and are typically scheduled 3-6 weeks prior to the wedding day. In the trial run, we will discuss your comfort level with makeup, see any ideas you may have for your makeup look, and apply a full face of makeup just like we would on the wedding day. Trial runs typically take longer than a makeup service on the day of as we are testing products out, identifying your shade, and making changes as needed. Once the trial is complete, comprehensive notes and photos will be taken to document the agreed upon look that will be replicated on the day of. A 50% deposit of the Bridal Package will need to be made at the trail run.
Do you travel?
Yes! While Ready, Set, Glow typically serves the greater Seattle area, out of state bookings are accepted as well. For local bookings, a mileage rate of $.90/mile roundtrip will be applied from Bothell to the service location.
Should I supply my own makeup for our session?
There is no need for clients to bring their own makeup, unless they are particular about using a specific product. Otherwise, my kit is fully stocked with high quality and sanitized products.
How should I prepare my skin prior to getting my makeup done?
It is best to arrive to your appointment with a freshly washed face free of any remnants of makeup. Skincare is provided before makeup application, but if the client prefers to apply their own skincare in advance, they are welcome to.
How long does an average client take?
Brides are typically scheduled for 60 minutes on the wedding day, but sometimes it may take less time. Attendants typically are scheduled for 30-40 minutes per service.
Are lashes included in any of the services?
Lashes are not included into the prices listed, but can easily be added for an additional $12 per person.
